How to Jailbreak your iPhone or iPod Touch for Mac

Jailbreak will allow you to install third party application which otherwise won't be able to use with iPhone or iPod Touch. If you have any problems with your jailbreak, you can download previous firmwares from Apple and restore them with iTunes.

You can jailbreak using this tutorial if you are on 02.28 baseband or lower. You can find the firmware and baseband version of your iPhone by going to the settings > General>About. In about you can locate your firmware version under the Version label and Scroll down to get your baseband version besides the Modem Firmware label.

Follow some simple steps to jailbreak your iPhone or ipod Touch. Make sure to have internet connection enabled during the process.
